Therapists and Authors that inspire my work:
-
Russ Harris - ACT Therapy
Russ Harris is a physician, psychotherapist, and the author of The Happiness Trap. His approach to teaching ACT uses a lot of metaphors and normalizing how the human mind can increase our suffering. I integrate a lot of his approaches with my clients.
-
Ana Gomez - EMDR Therapy
Ana Gomez has an integrative approach with EMDR, showing ways to fold in part work, creativity, and inner child work. I’ve completed her trainings on how to support parents with trauma backgrounds to stay grounded while parenting. I weave in her philosophy of allowing EMDR to be creative and tailored to the needs of my client.
-
Esther Perel - Couples Therapy
Esther Perel integrates existential questions into her couples work: what does it mean to be intimate, what does it mean to live fully in relationships, and how can we connect to eros as a life force. I’ve attended her conferences, and am deeply inspired by her books and podcasts to support couples to navigate betrayal and disconnection with compassion and vulnerability.

Emily Nagoski - Sex Educator
Emily Nagowski is a Sex Educator, writer and activist who takes the shame and taboo out of talking about sex, normalizes the challenges many people find in relationships, and inspires folks to explore sex as a playful and creative act. I integrate her approach and tone when clients want to increase desire and intimacy in their relationships.
